Maximizing countertop production, the Omega Pencil's cutting-edge design combines diamond abrasives and polishing pads on a conveyor belt, setting a new standard in efficiency for crafting rectangular countertop parts.
Its versatility and precision enable it to create a wide range of edge profiles, from simple bevels to intricate bullnose edges, catering to diverse customer preferences and design requirements. This capability not only enhances productivity but also offers a significant competitive advantage in the market, as it eliminates the need for multiple machines and provides a one-stop solution for edge polishing.
Omega Pencil is equipped with a calibrator that uses a diamond tool to mill the B-side of parts to the desired thickness. Milling the B-side of the stone, ensures that the countertops will sit flush on the cabinets minimizing the need for use of shims at installation.
Omega Pencil comes standard with an edge rectifier that is utilized to grind back saw/waterjet blends on the edge OR reduce the glue line on a laminated/stacked piece.
Vertical spindle allows for smooth of the underside (B-side) of parts. This function is commonly used to make the underside of overhangs smooth to the touch.
To prevent the machinery from rusting, its structure, and main parts are metalized through a modern treatment that follows different phases: sandblasting, metallization with zinc wire, priming coat with zinc phosphate epoxy product, and final painting with a high solid polyacrylic enamel. The painted covers are subject to cataphoresis treatment which follows different phases: degreasing of the piece, spry or dipping pretreatment, electroplating bath which uses electric power to plate the paint to make a uniform skin, after-washing, and furnace baking.
